The cost of delivery depends on three primary factors:

  1. Distance of your job site (in Sydney) from Tramin’s warehouse in St Marys.
  2. The size/dimensions and weight of your order.
  3. Whether you choose the "Hand Unload by Customer" delivery option (ie: which uses deliveries by utes or flat-bed trucks) or "Crane Truck Delivery" option. Thus, the cost of delivery varies from job to job.

How much will I save by picking up building materials from Tramin’s warehouse or the wholesaler?

Pickup from Tramin's warehouse or, where applicable, the wholesaler/supplier is free-of-charge.

Does delivery cost the same amount no matter how much building supplies I order?

For "Crane Truck" deliveries, typically, yes. Our freight providers' crane trucks can generally take up to 8+ tons of product. For "Hand Unload by Customer" deliveries the delivery cost will typically increase the as the weight and dimensions of the order increase. Above a certain weight, customers will only have the option of "Crane Truck" deliveries.

Do you require a minimum order for delivery?

No. Typically, the customer will not opt for delivery if its cost is greater than the cost of the products.

Which building supplies need to be ordered first?

This is entirely up to you, the customer. We do not pretend to be building experts.

Will you deliver my building supplies all at once?

Yes, if required, we can do that provided full payment has been made.

Do you carry out the product installation?

No. Our business is offering you the cheapest possible prices for our building supplies. We recommend that you seek businesses who specialise in building/renovation/installation services.

Can I rent construction equipment?

This is a very broad question which is entirely job-dependant. Can you help me order the correct quantity of building supplies?

For simple m2 conversions for, say, decking and/or cement flooring, we will be happy to, at short notice, provide our recommended product quantity. Also, for floor system take-offs from design drawings, we can request professionals do a take-off free of charge but will only provide a cost for the supply of all the components and will not actually divulge the quantities of those components. We do not provide a "full take-off" service and recommend that you use building professionals for this.

Can I return building supplies that were delivered to my construction site?

Yes, provided the goods (and their packaging) are undamaged and in an "as new" condition, the goods may be returned but will be subject to a Restocking Fee which amounts to the greater of $100 or 20% of the net (ie: after discount) sales value of the goods.

Do you sell wholesale building supplies to the general public?

No. We are a retailer; we purchase our goods from wholesalers.

Do you sell Australian building supplies?

Yes. We purchase all our supplies from reputable Australian wholesalers. Obviously, some of their products may come from overseas but have been thoroughly tested to Australian standards.

Do you sell good used secondhand building supplies?

No. We only sell new, high-quality building supplies which are untarnished by prior use.

Do you sell landscape supplies?

Not at this point. We may look to do this in future as we expand our product range.
