Return & Refund Policy
(Applies to Tramin and Fixly – trading brands of Tramin Pty Ltd)
Tramin Pty Ltd operates multiple trading brands, including Tramin and Fixly. This policy applies to all purchases made through either store.

Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a refund, replacement or repair if goods:
• Are faulty or defective
• Are damaged during delivery
• Do not match their description or specifications
For a major failure, you are entitled to a refund or replacement and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
For a non-major failure, you are entitled to a repair or replacement.
Important – Nature of Our Supply & Delivery Model
Many products sold by Tramin and Fixly are:
• Picked up directly from third-party suppliers
• Booked with couriers shortly after order placement
• Delivered on fixed, pre-paid freight arrangements
As a result, returns and cancellations are limited and costs are often incurred immediately after an order is placed.
When Returns Are Accepted
We will provide a refund, replacement or repair where:
• The item is faulty or defective
• The item is damaged during delivery
• The incorrect item was supplied
• The item does not match the description or specifications provided
Conditions:
• You must contact us within 14 days of delivery
• Order details and clear photographs must be provided
• Any return must be approved in writing before goods are sent back
Where Tramin Pty Ltd is at fault, replacement or exchange will be arranged at no cost to the customer.
Inspection on Delivery
Please inspect goods immediately upon receipt.
We strongly recommend products are purchased and inspected several days prior to installation to avoid delays or disruption.
To the extent permitted by law, Tramin Pty Ltd does not compensate for indirect or consequential losses, including installation delays or labour costs.
When Returns Are Not Accepted
Returns are not accepted where:
• You change your mind
• You ordered the wrong product, size or quantity
• You no longer require the item
• Delivery timing does not suit you
• The item has been used, installed, cut, altered or damaged after delivery
Non-Returnable Items
Unless required under Australian Consumer Law, we do not accept returns for:
• Custom or special-order products
• Cut-to-size items
• Clearance or sale items
• Gift cards
• Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
If unsure, please confirm before ordering.
Change-of-Mind Returns (Exceptional Only)
Change-of-mind returns are not standard practice and are accepted only at our discretion, where operationally possible.
If approved:
• Goods must be unused and in original packaging
• The customer is responsible for all return freight
• A re-stocking fee applies
Re-Stocking Fee
The re-stocking fee is the greater of:
• $100, or
• 20% of the sales value (net of discounts) of the returned goods
This reflects handling, administration, supplier and freight costs already incurred.
Order Cancellations & Merchant Fees
Due to our fast dispatch and supplier-pickup model, orders cannot always be cancelled once placed.
Where a customer cancellation is approved before stock is purchased or supplier re-stocking costs are incurred:
• A re-stocking fee will not apply
However:
• Tramin Pty Ltd incurs non-refundable merchant processing fees at the time payment is taken (typically 1.6%–3%)
Accordingly:
• For approved change-of-mind cancellations, 2% of the order value will be withheld to partially recover merchant fees
• The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method
This deduction does not apply where a refund is required under Australian Consumer Law due to faulty goods, damaged goods, or a Tramin Pty Ltd service error.
Refund Processing
• We will notify you once returned goods are received and inspected
• Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method
• Processing times vary depending on banks and card providers
